Redbrick Barn Photography and Film

Tying the Knot at the Rustic Redbrick Barn, Rochford

Redbrick Barn is nestled in the picturesque Essex countryside in Rochford, for wedding photography and film it offers a perfect blend of rustic charm, captivating surroundings, and an ambience that is as warm and inviting.

When driving into Redbrick barn you notice the tree-lined avenue and I knew from a photography perspective we would come back and capture some lovely photos at sunset. The lovingly restored 17th-century barn, with its exposed red brick walls and majestic oak beams, provided an incredible backdrop for the reception photos with the marquee offering more space for the guests.

As the bridal party prepared for the big day that morning everyone was relaxed and looking forward to the day. A short drive away we made time for the groom and his party for the photography and film, ensuring a complete story of their day.

The forecasted rain never really came with any consistency, in fact for the photography it kept clear. As the sun dipped in the horizon, the Redbrick Barn was transformed with a golden hue and we took some group photos by the large willow tree with the sun sparkling through the branches.

We then borrowed the bride and groom for their portraits. From stolen kisses beneath the ancient willow tree to the tree-lined avenue we spotted earlier. The sun was in the perfect place, just starting to set over the horizon for some beautiful bride and groom photos and film.

After the fun and emotional speeches which left tears in everyone’s eyes, there was the traditional cake cutting and first dance. Then we had time for some sparkler photos before finishing the night under the strings of twinkling fairy lights adorning the rafters, casting a warm glow on the wedding party as they danced the night away.

Congratulations Tyla and Joel, enjoy some previews of the wedding day :)

The Ceremony: Traditional Elegance

The Ceremony took place at St Andrew's Church in Rochford, a 13th-century stone construction, with a 16th-century brick tower. The ceremony was heartwarming and emotional, and the happy couple looked absolutely radiant as they exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones. The happy couple also impressed the guests and us with their little jig down the aisle, it was smiles and laughter all the way.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day. It was truly an honour to capture your memories and create beautiful photographs and films that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
